The Process Technician is responsible for building and testing optical assemblies using detailed work instructions. He/she will work with a small team of technicians and engineers to deliver quality product on-time and to help continually improve the manufacturing processes. In addition, the Process Technician performs a variety of routine duties including inspection, data collection, packing, and shipping to deliver laser diode based products for fast growing, cutting edge applications. Training will be provided.

Duties include:

• Assembly of products from specifications
• Testing of diodes and diode-based assemblies
• Inspection of incoming material using an optical microscope
• Entering inspection records into the database
• Incoming material inspection
• Preparation of shipping documents

Requirements:

• 3 or more years’ experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
• Experience with microscopes and handling of small parts
• Ability to sit and work at a microscope for extended periods of time
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment is a plus
• Work independently as well as with a small team
• Dependable, punctual, career-minded individuals only.
• Good work ethic/positive attitude and attention to details
• Currently eligible to work in the US (permanent resident)
• Want to work in a fun, fast-paced environment

Work Location:

Danvers, MA near I-95 and US Route 1
